Felicia Jartelius
The artist is working with symbolism, associations and contrasts in installations with mixed mediums to experiment with expression and she questions and explore ideas and beliefs around existence as humans with a spiritual viewpoint but also existence in relation to being a woman, touching subjects such as objectification and domestic violence.
Using symbolism and associations with storytelling the artist is working to create a fitting atmosphere using objects and text, as well as painting and film is something I enjoy working on at this time. Working with objects like furniture I often end up touching subjects like objectification and domestic violence against women.
